January 13, 2020 | No Comments This was our first project of 2019, we removed the wall between the living room and dining room opening up the entire main floor. It was open above the dining room so we framed and added loft area above. We then put luxury vinyl flooring throughout the main level. This was a big and fun project to work on. February we started this smaller master bathroom, we did this one in Thornton. We took out the old tub and shower combo and the old vanity. That all got replaced with an all tile shower and beautiful frames glass, making everything look sleek and modern. Along with the shower we made and put in a new vanity and a heated floor throughout. It turned out great! This is another February job. We did their master closet. We made all the cabinets and shelves and installed them. There were three cabinets and a bunch of shelves. They loved it!We also did their hand railing and some pullouts below for a nice looking added storage. Here are all the pullouts. Four total making the space look nice with the added benefit of the storage. In March in this basement we did some framing and drywalling to cover the ducts in the ceilings. We drywalled, textured and put in some doors throughout. Also in March we redid the entire master bathroom, putting in a new jetted tub, large shower with bench. Frameless glass surrounding the shower as well. We made their vanity and tiled their entire bathroom floor. In April in this kitchen there was only one sink and a big wall dividing the kitchen from the rest of the main floor. We took down the wall and did some detail work for them. Later in the year we did some bathrooms for them as well. Here is a railing we did in May, replacing their old outdated hand rail. We took it all the way up the flight of stairs and all along their upper level. Here is one of the two bathrooms that we did for this customer. We installed their vanity and tiled the floor. Installed a deep tub and re-tiled their entire shower. They chose a cool design for the large wall in the shower. This bathroom was in the top floor of the customer’s house, they called it “the attic”. Parts of this floor were sloped from the roof. So this bathroom had a weird angle to the ceiling. We tiled the ceiling and added the handheld head. They chose a cabinet-less sink and a diamond shape design for the flooring. In May and June we worked on this job; the bathroom was pretty much in the kitchen. it was way out of place and really confined the space of their main floor. We moved the bathroom and added a new one in a more convenient place near the living room. We did some structural work and did a lot of drywalling. We also stained and installed the treads and the handrail on their stairs. We made their vaulted ceiling more stylish and installed the fan. In July we did the beam here in the front of the house. The original was off center and out of plumb. We evened everything out and made it look better. Covering the old beams in a nice stained wood. We did their master bathroom, making a custom vanity with a stained glass panel that lights up. Their Bath/shower got re-tiled, all new hardware and turned out looking great! They picked a very unique tile for their son’s bathroom. They continued the floor tile into the shower. The tub and shower were very large with a bench. It all looked awesome. We built their vanity and installed these sinks that sat on top of the counter tops. The downstairs powder room got tile along one wall and we made a floating sink for this bathroom. They chose some very cool mirrors for the wall as well. In August we did two bathrooms, moving part of a wall to make the master bathroom a little larger. We replaced their old tub with a larger tub and tiled the entire area for the shower. We installed the vanity and tiled the floor. The detail tile looks very good with everything else they picked out. Their master bathroom got just the shower. We added the bench and a detailed niche in the wall. We tiled the floor and installed their vanity and mirror. September we started a flooring and kitchen remodel. We removed 1600 square feet hardwood floor and replaced it all with a wood looking tile. We installed all of the cabinets and lights. In October we started this job where we removed some wall to make room for the island. We also had to put a support beam in the ceiling. We added can lights throughout the kitchen and living room. All of the cabinets were from IKEA and we built them all and installed them. We built this custom nook bench with storage underneath.
